| I first wanted to gain worldly success in the secular music realms because I was convinced that would ultimately fulfill my needs as an artist. But after years of striving after my "own" fame, I have finally come to the recognition of the TRUTH!!! Which is: The only way to truly live a life that leaves any kind of lasting legacy, is to die to self, and completely and 100% live for CHRIST! So although you wanted to know my influences musically, I can tell you the one and only influence that has ever steered me in the right direction, ...and that is My LORD and Savior, JESUS CHRIST!!! Now with a new plan of using my music to glorify MY SAVIOR, I have seen more doors open than I ever have before! With two East coast tours behind me, and a new Christian CD in the works, I am EAGERLY awaiting to see what GOD has in store for me next! I encourage any of you musicians or bands out there looking to make a lasting impression in the industry...Allow GOD to use the gifts HE's given YOU to glorify HIM!! It'll blow your mind! | 03 October 2008 Hello everyone! David and I are back from New Zealand. We both had a great time there and hope to have a few pictures up from all of the crazy things we did. God really changed both of our lives there. Thank you David for the wonderful vacation and for your friendship. I appreciate you. On our way back from New Zealand, we flew directly to Toronto, CA where we attended a three day long conference at the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship. Bill Johnson and Heidi Baker spoke. I was so impacted by the Presence while they shared. I went there desperate for more of Jesus in my life, to know Him deeper and deeper in my heart. And I left there a different person than when I went. I left with a greater desire and a more intense hunger to die to my self and give all that is within me to Him. To be "holy given" and without reservation to the One that I love, the One that gave His all to set me free. Only the grace of God can work this in me, but I say yes to Him. I say yes to the cup of suffering, to the cup of endurance, the cup of joy, and to the cup of blessing. Although I am back in PA for a little while, I'll be leaving again for a trip to the Philippines on Oct. 28th with Debby Davis, Emily Ingole, Michelle Harter, and the rest of a team who will be ministering with us there. Like the first time I went, I ended up getting more "ministered to" than I did minister to others. I know this trip comes at a crucial time in all of our lives, and I know in my heart that Holy Spirit is going to get us where He wants us. God is going to change our lives on this trip forever and we will never be the same! Wherever you are today, whatever you are doing, I pray that you are encouraged by reading this, that you remember that you are going higher in Him, that you are the very apple of your Father's eye, and that you are the eternal criminal of Jesus' heart. In fact, He is so enraptured with you that, with one look of your eyes, His heart begins to pound in His chest. To believe anything else is a waste of our time. Believe the truth...it sets us free! I love you all in Jesus precious name! I thank you all for your prayers, I know I need them desperately, as I am praying for you too!
